Interweave meets in support of lesbian, bisexual, gay and transgender people, their friends, families and allies. We meet the first Tuesday of each month at 7pm in the Church Library. Our goal is to promote the spiritual, political and social well being of all. We also sponsor movies on the 2nd Friday of each month and an on-going book club. For more information, stop by the Interweave table after service, call Brad Shreve via the church office (310-378-9449) or by email at Interweave@pacificunitarian.org.

Brokeback Mountain by Annie Proulx will be our book discussion on Thursday, April 24.
Originally published in the New Yorker in 1997.
The story won an O. Henry Award prize 1998. The
New Yorker won the National Magazine Award for Fiction for its publication
of Brokeback Mountain in 1998. Two young men who meet in Wyoming in 1963
forge a sudden emotional and sexual attachment, but soon part ways. As their
separate lives play out with marriages, children, and jobs, they reunite for
brief liaisons on camping trips in remote settings over the course of 20
years.
This book is available at local bookstores, online or your local library.
The film begins at 7 PM in the PUC Library.
