Service in the Community

We are proud of our culture that encourages community involvement by our congregants.   Individually, our members donate their time, money, and talents to a large number of worthy causes on a local, national, and international level.

PUC, as a community, chooses to support a variety of local organizations through our Split-Plate collections held twice each month.  In this process, we share half of the non-pledge portion of our Sunday collections and share half with a different worthy cause each time.

Habitat for Humanity Build a Home day with South Coast Interfaith CouncilPUC members have helped build homes with Habitat for Humanity, including joining the South Coast Interfaith Council in Long Beach, September 2010.

In addition, PUC has special relationships with the four local organizations listed below. We honor them via additional donations and the volunteer involvement of many of our members.

If you are interested in supporting any of them, either click on their link below or contact the Church Administrator in the church office by calling (310) 378-9499.
